every time a pop up comes telling me that i can get a free laptop or something it never works and i get tired of that sometimes…i need another solution…

Anyone know where you can find real, totally free stuff online? I've looked, but everywhere has requirements.

I really like http://www.sampleaday.com . They give you a free sample everyday with no stupid surveys to fill out. I like it because I actually get my samples from there. You can sign up for the free e-mail subscription and they will send you the sample of the day to your inbox. but it is not required you submit your e-mail or any information to get the sample. Its pretty good.

Go to craigslist.com and click under the "for sale" forum and click on "free". People give stuff away on there all the time.

I want to give away free items on my website as a suprise bonus to my regular (or lucky first-time) visitors. It's not a Sweepstakes, and not necessarily a contest. It's just goes to the first person to respond to the offer. I'm only sending to people in the US. Are there any age or legal restrictions I should know about?

Everybody likes free stuff.
It depends what you want to give. If you want to give adult material is more than logical that you cannot give it to kids.
So as long as it is not illegal material, adult material or something like that i don't see any problem.

I just wanted to see what cool free stuff people have found online over time. I have found some things but it's always nice to find something new!! I know it's a broad question, but I think it will click with some people.

There are a couple of websites that I would recommend. The first would definitely be http://craigslist.org/ . If you live by a city, click that city and go to the "free" section. A lot of good finds on that.

Also, http://www.freecycle.org (as mentioned) is a good one.
Both of those are usually used free things, but if that's not what you are looking for, I would suggest http://www.spoofee.com/ and then their "freebies" section. I have gotten a 1 gb usb drive, film, and food samples from them.

I really like it because they have funny descriptions and find free samples (and no popups) that don't have those crazy gimics or surveys that you have to fill out to get it. They have mailing list so you can get the freebies in your e-mail box, but that is not required to get the samples you just have to go to their site. They also have occasional contests for free stuff too. Well, I hope you enjoy!

try freecycle in your area or maybe look for free samlpes under the brand you want try sweepstakestoday.com they have a list of a few things freecycle is great place to find things others are giving away

I'm thinking about trying some of these schemes for getting hold of free stuff online. Some of the things I've looked at include Xbox 360 games consoles, the Nintendo Wii, iPhones, Apple Macs and even LCD TVs. Do these schemes actually work? Or are they just a scam?

no but you an get free samples.
If you want a free sample site without those stupid offers or surveys I would check out http://www.sampleaday.com . They feature a new free sample every day without those stupid surveys or "offers" that make the "free sample" not really free. What I also like about them is that they have a mailing list so that you can get the free samples sent to your inbox… its pretty sweet.
