I'm an avid PC user, and the cost of a mac has always kept me away from switching over, moreso now than ever as I'm about to get married and still a college student. I'm genuinely serious- I like free stuff, and I'd love to try a mac. Any programs that might look mercifully on a middle-class guy like me who happened to ask the right question at the right time (and just get really lucky)?

The only way I could think of a way to get a free Mac would be to steal one. Other then that you gotta buy one just like the rest of the population.

Hey, I’m going up to Chicago this week with a few friends and I was wondering if there are any free or cheap things to do in or around Chicago? We’re all college students, so think student budget. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Go to Navy Pier, great place to hang out. Also, Millenium Park, check out the Bean, free concerts are frequent there also. See Buckingham Fountain, and try the lakeshore beaches. Best thing is to walk around the city and check it all out. If possible, take a boat tour through the city and out to Lake Michigan, costs aprox. $12 per person but well worth it.
